- . . .
I think that music gets more generic as time passes by. Even 'indie', that is practically sounds the same. There were some original acts back in the 80s. It was higher quality. They were creative. Today is the same theme to write about.
Before, the artists used to be older, and that applies to the maturity of those lyrics. Now, the artists mix and match different lyrics. My parents used to listen to pop, disco, rock.
Their music compared to what I listen now. . .
Their music, like i said before, compared to mine isn't that much of a differnce. Mine, i listen to Miley Cyrus, Def Leppard (I'm obsessed with them), Madonna, Britney Spears, Poison. i just like something that has rythm.
Now the styles and fashions are different. people used to think outside the box back then, like madonna. they used to make their own style. Now other artists want to imitate them by mixing up their own style with the other. Now, their music is less passionate compared to the past. Before, the music was very real.
Now, in relation of what I listen, there's a difference in the style. My style now is a mix with Britney and Madonna mix with rock and roll.
I would survey that every each and of us got to know more and more about 80s and 90s etc, music and listen to real, and better music. I personally love the 90s and 80s music. I would also survey that the artists would be more creative with their lyrics and start to use more of their imagination to write something new to listen to.
We Belong to the Music. . .
